Bethany Blessings Preschool and Daycare

Days and Hours of Operation:

Bethany Blessings preschool and daycare are open year round, Mondays through Fridays (excluding certain holidays).  The preschool hours are 9:00 AM to 12 noon.  The daycare hours are 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Philosophy:

The Bethany Blessings Preschool/Daycare, a state-licensed and church owned preschool, exists for the purpose of providing a challenging and friendly Christian classroom experience for the young children in our congregation and community.  The program provides an environment of love and nurturing based on Christian principles and values that will strive to meet the individual needs of each child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

Curriculum:

Each child will be encouraged to progress at his/her own speed to achieve competency in the following areas.

Themes will be selected that can be incorporated into the areas listed above.  Because we are a Christian Preschool/Daycare, many of our themes will have Bible lessons incorporated into them.  Below are a few of those themes.

Supported by Bethany Church, Bethany Blessings Pre-School and Daycare offers quality pre-school education combined with Christian values.  Bethany Blessings is able to provide full–time day care for children or just Pre-School education.  A summer school-age program is also available.  Call for an appointment to come and see our modern facility!

In all cases, parents are kept informed, and, involved in the input of information to staff so that parents wishes are always known.

This is typical of the pleasant and colorful classroom areas that allows the daycare staff to provide a loving and caring area for the children.  The children are allowed to help with some activities in decorating rooms that allow their creative side to show and are always under the watchful and protective eyes of the staff.  Children are involved in a variety of activities from games and special events to group activities such as authorized and closely monitored and supervised field trips.

Each child is encouraged to use games and toys that are fun and that stimulate the child's mind.  There are facilities for heating and for cooling as needed for the children's lunches, snacks and other necessary requirements for the children's health and welfare.  Specified nap times and quiet times are also in place.

Children are encouraged to use computers in a fun and learning environment.  These computers allow the children to learn more about Christianity while at the same time starting them along a path that will hopefully allow them to be better prepared for school and for life experiences they will face someday.
