What is this service like?
At Bethany we offer a Contemporary service each Sunday morning located in our auditorium (which we affectionately refer to as the Big Room) beginning at 11:00 A.M. This service is specifically geared towards those new to their faith or those who are seeking a less formal worship environment. We invite you to come as you are! Our worship team will lead the congregation in songs that you may be used to hearing on popular Christian radio, and our Pastor, Stephen Portner, will speak to life changing and applicable Biblical truths for today's world.
What do I do with my children?
At this time the children are encouraged to stay with their families doing the time of worship, at least until restrictions regarding COVID are lifted.
Will I have to sign in, give, or be singled out?
You will not be singled out and can provide us with contact information, only if you want to! At Bethany, we strive to be a welcoming, hospitable community of believers.
Where can I park and where do I go?
Parking is available in the lot on Summerhill Avenue and behind the church building (entrance on Pine Street). The first spaces on the 16th and Pine Street parking lot are reserved for individuals with wheelchairs or needing assistance to our wheelchair accessible front door. Any of our entrances will lead you up the stairs to our main worship area. There is a Welcome Desk in the overflow area of the sanctuary where all kinds of information is available.
